Even better, I wore my dress out last Saturday to see Psycho on the big screen with a friend. Win win!
Now I am on to the next contest: fitted blouse, a skills challenge. Thankfully, I muslined a shirt last month so even though I am joining to contest with only seven sewing days left, I’m feeling pretty confident.
I entered a sewing contest! I made a dress from a New To Me Pattern Company: the Go Anywhere Dress by Sewn Square One. Of course sewing for a contest is really about giving yourself a deadline, but I did find myself thinking of ways to make my dress stand out.
